If you like a really good quality, British crime drama (that isn't full of American cop show car chases) then The Fall is a television series that is well worth viewing.
Filmed and set in Northern Ireland, the series which was created and written by Allan Cubitt, stars Gillian Anderson as an incredibly complex and layered DSI Stella Gibson. Jamie Dornan plays the equally complex family man come serial killer, Paul Spector, disturbingly well.
The title is apparently a reference to the line 'Falls the shadow' from the poem "The Hollow Men" by T. S. Eliot.
This is a television series that is made up of equal parts dark, deep and disturbing. It is well worth viewing. You can view it in Australia on Netflix or Foxtel.
