TV hours trump working hours

Last year may seem like old news now, but let me refresh your memory in respect to those hours you think you spent work versus time spent with media.

Roy Morgan Research data has revealed that not only do Australians spend more time watching traditional broadcast television (18.7 billion hours) in 2016 than working (17.7 billion hours), but we spent 15.1 billion hours listening to radio and 13.6 billion hours online at home.

On average, each Australian went out for food or drink 64 times during the year, and went out for leisure (beach, nightclubs, cinema, galleries, concerts etc) 33 times per person.
